A pocket gopher can mound up a lawn overnight and undermine a pasture in a season. Between sandy loam soils and long growing seasons, our corner of Texas is easy digging — and once a burrow network is established, home remedies mostly just aerate it. This is the one pest where our gear does the arguing for us.
How the GopherX treatment works

Your $225 covers two treatments — the initial pass, then a second run 5–7 days later that hits anything that was sealed off, reopened, or recolonized from a neighboring system. That second pass is the difference between "quieter for a while" and done.

How is GopherX different from poison baits or traps?
Baits only work if the gopher decides to eat them, and traps only work where you guessed right. The GopherX machine pushes carbon monoxide directly through the entire burrow system — no bait acceptance needed, no digging up half the yard, and no secondary poisoning risk for dogs, cats, owls or hawks that might catch a treated rodent.
Why two treatments?
The second visit, 5–7 days after the first, catches any part of the system that was sealed off or reopened. Two passes is what it takes to call a burrow network actually done.
Does it work on moles too?
Yes — moles and gophers both live in closed burrow systems, which is exactly what the machine is built to treat. If you’re seeing raised runways (moles) or fan-shaped dirt mounds (gophers), it’s the same call.
